This dress instantly caught my eye when I saw it hit the LOFT New Arrivals section and am in love with the flutter sleeves and bright white floral print. Nonetheless, we’re always chatting with each about our LOFT finds / outfits (even if it’s just passing by as we drop off our kids at school in the mornings!), and I love that LOFT really caters to every body type in their styles and pormote body positivity! Trish and I have pretty different body types - I’m 5’ tall with a minimal curves while Trish is a good 5” taller and has a gorgeous hourglass figure (thank goodness for these wedges that are over 4″ tall! 😂). We met as parents in our sons’ preschool class and seriously Trish has the sweetest and goofiest personalities that you can’t help but want to be around! It’s pretty obvious how much fun we always have together as we crack each other up and for me, it’s just such a breath of fresh air when you find someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. It makes me so happy to share some pictures from a fun afternoon with one of my favorite friends, Trish. Their sizing has always extended to include Petites, Regular, Tall, and Maternity but the best part is that they’ve even recently expanded to offer Plus! LOFT has been one of my go-to stores for years now as I have always loved that they carry a petite line and have fashion-forward styles that don’t break the bank. I love the fact that social media is leading the body positivity movement and couldn’t be happier to see that it’s encouraging women everywhere to embrace and love their bodies! Finding clothes that fit was a constant struggle and there are many days when I think what a difference even just a couple extra inches would make! While I am a big proponent of a healthy lifestyle and continuously working on being the best version of you, along the way it’s also important to appreciate all that your body does for you. Growing up, I remember that there were many times when I felt overlooked or inadequate due to my lack of height. I’ve always been short and even now as an adult, I’m only 5′ tall.
